In addition to a strong competence and presence in the market on Strategy, User Experience, Design and other areas, Making Waves is also big on IT Architecture and Technology, to a large degree based on the Microsoft environment. A majority of our developers live and breathe hard-core architecture and technology, and are all about .NET, C#, design patterns, Integration, Service based design, Test Driven development, and all the fun stuff that comes with the territory of supporting the great user experiences that we strive to deliver. Many of our techies operate as Architects on both small and large scale, and have backgrounds from diverse business areas and technologies. Those of us who have operated as solution architects know how this can be both very fullfilling and exciting, but also how frustrating and challenging this can be at times. If you read Norwegian, check out the Letter to the Editor published in Computerworld (paper version) Friday 12th.
